"Pros: The owner of the Ryokan was sweet and thoughtful. She was very thorough with showing the amenities and helpful with making sure we didn't leave anything behind.. i felt like I was at my grandparents home <3 I also loved that they had books you could borrow, a family bath style onsen inside that you can lock for privacy and it came with shampoo, conditioner and body wash for the shower. Everybody in my group really loved this place and hope to come back soon! Cons: The hallway was cold, so I'd suggest bringing a warm fleece pajama or house robe and some house shoes. They provide house shoes of their own, but you can bring warmer ones." ~Rebecca

"Pros: This was by far the best hotel in which I have stayed in my multiple trips to Iwate. Amazing customer service, overall cleanliness and amenities. The lobby workers were incredibly helpful and gave us all the information that we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the multiple options for pillows were a nice addition.
