"Pros: Amazing breakfast and kaiseki dinner (you will be very well-fed!). Room is spacious. They have variety of private onsens that you can choose from and enjoy with your partner, the open air one was so beautiful. Peaceful stay and friendly hosts - we will miss them! Cons: It’s located a train ride away from Yufuin, and around the onsen there’s nothing much there. Can be a bit inconvenient to get to, but hosts were very helpful (plus provide pickup service from Yunohira station to the ryokan)" ~Charmaine
