"Pros: In room onsens. Spacious room. View. Location of the ryokan is private away from the town. Special service to drop off and pick up at arranged timing to and from yufuin town saved us the hassle to take a drive down to town. The beef served for the 2 nights were good. Pork was on the tougher side though. Cons: The bathing area is tiny and not comfortable. It is just next to the indoor onsen and as you shower the water will get into the onsen. The indoor onsen temperature was too hot also. Also, about the family onsen, it didn't have a booking system and we needed to check if anyone was using it. We need to step out of our room to check if the red light is on to indicate in use. It was a hassle and disappointment to me when we didn't get to use it at all. There was no time limit for each use also. An area of improvement for consideration perhaps. ." ~Pearlynn
