"Pros: It was walking distance to Naeba Ski Resort, Onsen, and restaurants. There was also a beautiful view from the video where you could see all of the snow. Cons: It was a bit far from Echigo-Yuzawa station, and in the snow we were grateful for the option to pay Toshiro for a ride." ~Talia

"Pros: We rented the cottage for NYE, a group of 7. It was well decorated, well heated, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Everyone enjoyed every bit of the stay. Cons: The cottage was not accessible by car. So we didn’t not have total freedom to move as we pleased. There is a municipal vehicle (kind of snow tank) that picked us all up and our stuff. The owner was also extremely nice and picked four of us on snowmobile. But it felt quite difficult to ask many times to pick us and take advantage of his kindness" ~Akram
