"Pros: The place was very cozy—simple, yet authentically charming. Our family of five found everything we needed there. The beds were super comfortable, and the space was likely big enough for two families to enjoy a weekend getaway. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The house is heated with a wooden stove, but the owner kindly managed the heating for us on both nights. We also had the pleasure of using a wonderfully hot and relaxing sauna. The location was very convenient, just a short drive from Druskininkai. We visited in winter, but I can imagine the surroundings are stunning in summer. The owner mentioned a lake for swimming, just a three-minute walk away, which we’ll have to try next summer. Overall, it’s a lovely and comfortable place, and we would love to return! Cons: The only thing I didn’t realize from the listing was that the little house is built within the owner’s large front yard. For us, this wasn’t a problem at all, especially given how friendly the owners were and the fact that our children could use the lovely playground there. As a host, Mr. Sigitas is very helpful and accommodating, and always easy to reach if I had any questions.
