"Pros: The location is superb, very close to the old town. Grocery shops and cafes were nearby. Facilities were good- washing machine, kettle, fridge, microwave, Wi-Fi, lots of storage space, lots of hot water, shower efficient. Lighting generally good. Good security- 1 apartment door, 1 outside door and one gate. Easy to get through with codes or keys. Good size for 3 adults for a week’s stay. Cons: I appreciate that this apartment is relatively cheap, so I do not expect great comfort or everything to be new, but you wouldn’t need to spend much on it to make it a whole lot better. Generally tired, old fashioned appearance, walls need a paint especially the bathroom ceiling where the light bulb was exposed. It was not dirty, but because it’s old, it doesn’t feel clean. One light bulb in the double bedroom ceiling not working. Hooks broken in the bathroom, oven handle broken, microwave door drops on opening but works fine. The flex to the kettle and microwave hangs over the gas hob- not a great idea if you plan to use the hob which we did not. Very few hangers. Extractor fan in the bathroom did not appear to work. You enter the apartment from an alleyway/ small courtyard between 2 main streets. It is a bit grotty with graffiti and broken bottles but I never felt unsafe. I wouldn’t go back which is a shame because it could easily be so much better." ~Rosemary

"Pros: The location was fantastic as it was right on the main pedestrian street. The rooms were comfortable and the flat was well equipped. Cons: The restaurant downstairs employs a very loud and vulgar man who usually swears loudly and smokes at night, making it hard to keep the windows open during hot summer evenings." ~Ching
