"Pros: The Authentic Place, even if the name grates a little, is the best apartment my wife and I have ever rented across Europe. It’s spacious, well fitted out and has several small touches that show the owners really care. There’s a bit of traffic noise at the front but the bedrooms at the back are very quiet. The location is near the main yacht marina in Valletta and the nearest bus stop is only 100 metres away. Frequent buses take only ten minutes to get to the old city. Plenty of convenience stores and cafes nearby, and a couple of decent restaurants as well. Chris and Neil were extremely helpful and responded very promptly and effectively to a small query we had before we arrived. Cons: Nothing really." ~David

"Pros: The apartment is as described. Everything was clean and fresh. Chose this apartment because of the rather grim description of many apartments in Valetta and the choice of a modern, clean apartment was justified. Excellent cooking and laundry facilities. Very quiet area of Msida. There are several corner shops and takeaway/restaurants within 2 to 5 minutes walk. The balcony on the penthouse was a lovely suntrap - it would be even better if some recliners were provided. The bus stop at Kullegg is two minutes walk and buses to Valetta come with great frequency during day and into evening. In the opposite direction, you can travel to Sliema and St Julian. Overall a lovely apartment and good value for money. The management team were helpful in supporting us to arrange a Christmas lunch. Cons: Msida itself is going through a major renovation in the centre. When finished, I am sure it will be lovely. At the moment, although there are plenty of restaurants, takeaways and shops, Msida does not have the vibrant bar culture of Sliema or St Julian's. This didn't bother us but it is best to understand." ~Hornsby

"Pros: Everything is truly exceptional, the apartment is very clean, comfortable and equipped with all the equipment. Bus stop under the house for all destinations. Lots of shops nearby for shopping. Despite being a fairly busy area, especially with the windows closed, the noise is not audible. Excellent communication with the managers who also solved a big problem for us by giving us the possibility of staying for another 2 days because my wife was very ill. Highly recommended to everyone! Cons: To be picky, but only because we are Italian, we were missing placemats or a tablecloth for meals." ~Maurizio
