"Pros: The house is impressively spacious, though its five-story layout may present a challenge for some guests. With its numerous steps, it has the feel of a small castle, which adds to its unique charm. The location is excellent, providing easy access to Valletta’s main attractions. The property was exceptionally clean, though the entrance and living room had a slightly musty scent, while the kitchen and bedroom remained fresh. Although we did not cook during our stay, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the thoughtful addition of a large bottle of water in the fridge was appreciated. The staircases are generally wide and manageable, but the steps leading to the roof terrace are quite narrow, making it somewhat difficult to carry drinks or other items upstairs. Cons: The bedroom lacks adequate soundproofing from the road, allowing noise to be quite noticeable. While the traditional window shutters add to the room’s charm, they provide minimal insulation against sounds from pedestrians, traffic, church bells, and construction work nearby. On particularly windy nights, the noise levels can be even greater. For a more comfortable stay, you may wish to bring earplugs or use noise-canceling headphones to ensure a restful night’s sleep." ~David
