"Pros: Location Cons: No staff" ~Bhawani

"Pros: Preeti's apartment is such a great find! It's better than I expected and ideal for a number of reasons: it's spacious (handy in this heat and if you're staying for a little while), very well equipped, perfectly clean, super location, and has a huge and very comfy (for me) bed. Preeti and her husband were excellent hosts, bringing bananas and some delicious homemade banana cake, as well as providing info and being easily contactable if I ever needed anything. It's in a great spot - 4 minutes walk from a fairly quiet beach where you can swim and enjoy the sunset with very few people around. There is sometimes a current in which case you can walk down to the beach in front of the hotels where it's a bit more sheltered. Preeti's house and the apartment are in a little village beside Bel Ombre which has a little corner store and a few restaurants. There's a great market twice a week (plus supermarkets) in a nearby village. I would hugely recommend Preeti's place and am looking forward to staying again! "Pros: I booked the room upstairs and we enjoyed sitting out on terrace/roof. This property is close to all the beautiful nature of the South west of Mauritius. Nice free coffee!" ~Jonny
