"Pros: The whole place is charming, very different to anything we had experienced before. The tents are huge and beds are comfortable but would have benefited from mattress protectors, The private bathroom beneath the tent is well thought out and equipped. A powerful fan is provided to keep the tent cool at night and the tent has sockets for charging phones etc. as well as lighting. We had the distinct feeling of being completely embedded in nature in a very relaxed setting. The traditional creole meals provided both at lunchtime and dinner are delicious, beautifully prepared and cooked. The bar is well stocked with soft drinks and beers, wine, spirits and local rum. The complimentary boat trip to the île aux cerfs and the provision of canoes for a trip up the river to the waterfalls were a lovely addition to our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
