"Pros: What a cool spot. The entire ground floor of a beautiful house on a quiet bay that feels like the end of the world (in a good way): great sunsets! Nice patio and very nice hosts. Full kitchen if you like to cook. Cons: I tried to do my whole Mauritius trip without a car, but you should definitely have a rental car if you come here. There's a bus stop nearby (10-minute walk), but they discourage you from bringing luggage (since the busses are always packed). To be fair, virtually every guidebook said to tackle the south of Mauritius with a rental car, so this is on me for ignoring advice. With a rental car, this is a great spot, and the local food at the nearby snacks is great. Tranquil and way fewer tourists than Tamarin and Le Morne." ~Anderson

"Pros: Communication with the hosts was very smooth - despite late request from my end. Very pleasant surprise to see how new and clean the accommodation was; the swimming pool was a welcome relief from humidity. Very calm environment, yet central to explore southwestern areas of the island - as long as one has rented a car. I would definitely stay at Les Alizés again. Cons: The road was a bit close and we could hear the cars - particularly early in the morning, as the property is a bit in the outskirts of La Gaulette" ~Claire

"Pros: The pool was great and location was good walking distance to most eateries in La Gaulette. Overall location good for accessing both Le Morne and Black River Rooms were spacious, shipping containers are quite large after all 😄 Cons: We did opt for the budget option so not really didn't like per se but but don't expect grand,.it's all perfectly functional. Examples being no proper.curtain rail but hooked over window and DIY wardrobes. But still enjoyed our stay and would recommend" ~Joanna

"Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Ashvin and Madhavi's Tenexia. The property was situated in a serene and quiet place, just like how we wanted. The cute little accommodation had all the facilities necessary for our stay. We were also able to explore the southern coast better, because of the inputs that Ashvin had given us. More than the stay its the warmth with which they welcomed us into their home, just like some good old friends/family, that did it for us. Although we couldn't spend much time with them on this trip, we sure would be going back again and hope to make more wonderful memories there." ~Ammu
