"Pros: Location was excellent within walking distance of many great restaurants.
Quaint, boutique property with just 7 rooms.
Amanda the owner couldn't have been more helpful as well as all the staff
Lovely sitting out area out the back
Cons: The bed was a little small for us and the maintenance was somewhat lacking with a very loose bedroom door handle and loose taps at the basin. It took a very long time for hot water to appear wasting a lot of water in the process.
Breakfast was good but a set meal each day" ~Roger
"Pros: This is one of the most beautiful homes in the neighborhood and the location is terrific. Right down in the Village of Ajijic, within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Be aware you're in the middle of the Cobblestone area so there are many one way streets and parking is challenging. This home has a great large garage which is a real plus, but if you rent a car, you'll be challenged with parking in the Village during high season.
We absolutely LOVED the Owner, Lucie, and her related Staff and Assistants. She knows so much about the area and will help you with whatever you need.
I struggle with beds on vacation and these were WONDERFUL. No pain the entire stay. The television choices could be better but we used our Netflix account and found some movies to watch. Internet connection is TERRIFIC. Washer and dryer were easy to use and a plus. Kitchen is well equipped. This is not your cheapest option but the location, amenities, and Owner more than make up for the extra cost. We plan to be back next year.
Cons: Cobblestone streets have many potholes and parking in the Village is challenging. Television choices are limited." ~Belinda
