"Pros: Good locn at edge of Mazunte and San Augustinillo. Walk to all the beaches and restaurants. Nice, New bldg. Welcoming swimming pool. Spot whales from the balconies and pool. Great bird watching at dawn! (Use the Merlin app). Good A/C. Excellent daily housekeeping - they will keep your things in order. Nice shower. Only complaint is difficulty communicating with host before and during stay. Almost never anyone at Reception. Sometimes no reply to msgs  But nice folks when you're in contact. Room safe combo, safe key, and even hotel master key didn't work.  Beware of getting locked out. To get here from Puerto Escondido airport: Taxi to  Delfines bus stn in town, bus to cruce to Mazunte (aka San Antonio), taxi or collectivo to hotel. Alternatively, taxi from Maunte to Puerto Escondido is $ 1,000 mxp. In other direction, same in reverse. Get a half-hourly Delfines bus at their new terminal in San Antonio across from Oxxo ($ 60 mxp). Simple. One of the best restaurants in Oaxaca  IMHO  is El Navigante in San Augustinillo. (Make resn). Amazing French bakery 1 blk up the steep alley next to the grocery 1 blk from the hotel towards San Augustino. (Reliable ATM in grocery). We'd stay here again for sure." ~John

"Pros: Air con & good sized bed Cons: Very thin walls so hopefully you have respectful tenants in the next room. The kitchen really wasn’t good at all, avoided using at all costs to be honest. Main negative is that there’s a neighbours rooster outside the back window that wakes you up at 5am every morning." ~Jack
