"Pros: The staff was very nice and accommodating, they moved our reservation one night as we had a major situation on the highway and could not arrive on the first day when we planned to arrive. We were very grateful for the hotel’s flexibility and not charging for the date change. The hotel is in the heart of Oaxaca city, one block from the cathedral. Rooms are comfortable, pleasant although most have windows to the central patio / corridors. Hence, the drapes always have to be pulled in. The central patio is very pleasant as well. Cons: The noise from the neighboring two bars can be disturbing but it winds down after midnight. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace is pleasant, however, it could be greatly improved if the coffee was good brewed (not soluble) in a city which pride’s itself for great coffee. (Tip: the restaurant Pan:AM at the corner offers great coffee and patsy and many other even vegan dishes upon request)." ~Krisztina
