"Pros: The location was phenomenal. Tons of food nearby, closer to the beach than expected (right across the street), and in a quiet part of town. Owners are nice and helpful. The place and pool were clean, and larger than expected. Cons: It may be mentioned on listing, but there is no hot water. Was fine for us, but your mileage may vary. Both of us had chairs give out, due to age or design, and butts were busted, but we had a laugh, so no worries; but you might check before you sit. Bring your own pans for cooking. There are ants, but that's progreso, I think. Getting in touch with the owner was difficult for checkout. We were instructed on the morning of departure that they would come by and check us out at noon. However, this did not work, as we had a flight and needed to leave earlier. I called, texted, and Whatsapp, but no response. A dropbox for leaving keys/checkout would be ideal, to avoid this issue. Power outages, but that too is progreso, I think. All in all, great place to stay if you can tolerate a cold shower or rinse in the pool, and have your own pans for cooking." ~Mark
