"Pros: Remarkable architecture. To stay in a repurposed hacienda that was founded in 1529 is a very special experience. Perfectly manicured gardens, incredible vegetation and pool area. The size of our room and the view towards garden and pool area was very nice. Friendly staff, the bell boy was very knowledgeable and gave us a tour of the premises. He shared very valuable information about the history and the facilities. Our restaurant servers Dante and Alberto ( he was worked there for 14 years ) were very professional and friendly. Cons: No AC in our room and the ceiling fan was noisy. No hot water in the shower until we complained. The food in the restaurant is mediocre at best. Breakfast food is better than dinner. The road that leads to the hotel from the main highway is in bad shape full of large pot holes. I think some money should be allocated to make the access better. Maybe the city can help clean up the access road?" ~D.jj
