"Pros: The place was immaculate and beautiful. Secluded right in the middle of town! It had a 4th floor infinite pool and lounge-area that looked over the town and jungle canopy expanse. The king size bed in our room was amazing and Netflix/Amazon streaming abilities were great at night, as the nightlife scene was noth a big one, and we are not as young as we once were. The kitchen was a great size for even doing our own cooking for two. It was also very safe and secure, with a lock at the front gate into the compound, and a combination lock at each unit to open up the box and retrieve a key to each front door.
Cons: First of all, each unit is owned separately (unfortunately). This meant that each unit has it's own governance/management and there was no unified central staff or supplies.
1) The management communication with us (see next point).
2) The lack of backup bath/bedroom/kitchen linens/towels/toiletries for longer stays. The place came with zero backup bath towels, bathmats, pool towels, shampoos, soaps, toilet paper, dish towels (only got one thin disposable type), garbage bags. This meant that we had to request more constantly and they would fail to do so after saying they would. The shortfalls were happening repeatedly, to the point where we had to steal fresh linens out of the utility closet on the top pool floor so we could just shower. Brutal. The management never took accountability either or showed their owns faces personally to fix the problem.
3) The lack of cohesion between the on-site lobby staff and the condo managers. The lobby staff were constantly shrugging and having no clue what was going on or who to call about individual unit requests, can rides, wifi passwords (we worked that one out with him eventually)." ~James
