"Pros: This was amazing. Excellent value for a luxurious, spacious and well-equipped apartment in a modern and upscale neighbourhood. We were allowed to check in early and the owner couldn’t have been more welcoming, with excellent communication from start to finish. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues, but the handyman fixed them quickly. And the janitor at reception was super-helpful. I had doubts that the condominium pool would live up to the pictures but I was wrong, it was fantastic. And I had forgotten that I had booked a penthouse, so it was a bonus to climb a hidden staircase to a rooftop area with a jacuzzi. Eating out in Tulum is getting very expensive so it was great to be able to dine in with a kitchen that had all the essentials. No problem parking right outside with CCTV reassurance.
Cons: The area was lovely but I wouldn’t feel safe walking through adjacent neighbourhoods, so had to take a taxi to enjoy bars and restaurants in the centre. Please note the beds were very ’firm’, fine for me but not for everyone"
