"Pros: The view from this apartment is just unbelievable - truly breathtaking, and a good sized balcony from which to relax and watch the daily hubbub of town and port (pack your binoculars 😁). Other benefits include parking, washing machine, TV (with a range of English channels) and a little kitchenette. The hosts were very nice and generous providing welcome snacks, drinks, and lots of fruit. I was confused reading others reviews as to whether this property was or wasn't within walking distance to town. Lots of conflicting information. The simple answer is 'yes' it is easily walkable for anyone 'reasonably fit'. We only discovered the short-cut path on our last day, which shaves about 20 mins off your time walking down into town via the road. It took us just 10 mins on the track (as opposed to 30 on the road). It is on your left as you are walking down the road, you'll see a blue building, and the path leads past it and some other buildings before descending straight down, saving you from walking all the switchbacks on the road. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return one day. Thanks again Beautiful view. Cons: Not the owners fault, but the loud motorbike, (or maybe a quad), that goes up and down the road outside repeatedly, late at night, was quite annoying. It wouldn't put me off returning though." ~Lynda
