"Pros: I enjoyed my stay at Katun Siska Medna Dolina. Igor and his parents have created a cozy space from which to explore the mountains. The cabin is comfortable and Igor's mom made massive, hearty meals - all from food they sourced themselves! And the views...there are swings on the property and you can look out over the hills and trees and it's so peaceful. The hosts were really nice and it's such a lovely area; I can't wait to come back next year! P.S. I opted to get a ride from the village and was glad I did. (I'm a skittish driver but you might be ok driving the road. My friend managed just fine.)" ~Morgan

"Pros: Camping experience without having to bring our own camping equipment. Hut very basic, but everything you need. Playing around in the river. Laid back staff and simple two choices for dinner (fish or schnitzel, no menu) Cons: Shared toilet without hand wash sink, instead sink was squeezed into separate shared shower next door so if someone else was showering you are unable to wash hands. Listing said WiFi available everywhere but actually only available in the restaurant area (you're fine to hang out there and use it without expectation to buy anything though). 2 large motor homes were pitched when we stayed which took over a lot of the open communal space. No flyscreen and only small window on the hut door so had to choose between light or flies. Also no curtain for the window." ~Rosemary
