"Pros: After negotiating the winding, twisting narrow streets to arrive at the riad, you step through the door into a different world. Amazing building with beautiful architecture, wide open spaces and lovely authentic decor and furnishings. Anwar, our host, greeted us warmly and looked after us brilliantly throughout our whole stay. He organised an official guide for us for the medina and gave us lots of useful tips and information about Fes and the local area. The breakfasts were very good and the evening meals cooked by his wife, Asmar, were absolutely delicious and by far the best food we had during our entire stay in Morocco. We had the top floor very large room with a lovely terrace looking out over the medina. Our grateful thanks to Anwar, Asmar and all Chantal's team. Must also mention that Chantal was very good with email communication prior to our arrival which was much appreciated. All in all, we could not have been looked after any better and we cannot recommend Dar Al Safadi highly enough." ~Jane
