"Pros: Very affordable place to stay in the desert, has a lot of potential if you’d put some love into it.
The tour we did was very nice. Also it’s possible to take a camel from m’hamid to the camp (30€per person) which we enjoyed.
Cons: We were a bit disappointed that there wasn’t anyone actually living at the camp, no camels etc. in the evening there was also no music/storytelling/fireplace (maybe because we were only 5 guests staying in the camp).
Very dirty bathrooms; water wasn’t working in the morning bc someone left something open overnight; dishes were not very clean
Definitely fine to stay here but we left a day early because we expected a little more “charme”" ~Eva
"Pros: The host Aziz was a wonderful host. He took me to the Oasis and Chigaga Erg. He also arranged for my return taxi which was extremely helpfu.l He made my desert adventure a very memorable one. Chef Barack is a very kind person who makes delicious vegan food. I highly recommend this property.
Cons: Not applicable" ~Tranicia
"Pros: Good location, kind staff, great food.
Cons: Need some general maintanance but we visited in April which is a windy month and it always difficult to keep the sand out of the tents and facilities during sandstorms so I can't really complain about that" ~Henrik
"Pros: The camp is nicely decorated and well equipped. Breakfast buffet was OK but could be improved.
Cons: Be aware that this camp is not in Erg Chegaga. Even if you search on booking camps in Erg chegaga this one appears but it's not correct. We were told later that the same company has a second camp further in the desert.
One thing we really disliked is our driver coming at our table during breakfast, to try to sell us more activities in the desert when we already had booked the camel ride." ~Sara
