"Pros: Lovely hosts. Spacious room with beautiful bed equipped with mosquito netting. Good breakfast. Central location. Cons: Air conditioner was completely inadequate with no way to change temperature. I also had a big fan, but sweated all night, due to the extreme heat. Toilet walls in need of a good cleaning and fresh paint job. All mirrors hung at child height. I had a great view of my belly button! Lol (Really not a big deal, just wonder why they hung them so low??) Overall, still a good place!" ~Sabrina

"Pros: Bruno was an amazing host! The hotel is a beautifully renovated Portuguese colonial house with large comfortable rooms decorated with exquisite taste. The breakfast was delicious and varied. Would definitely recommend! Cons: Ilha is unpredictably windy. It might be better to plan a trip during the summer season if you wish to take a boat trip to do snorkelling, visit nearby islands and for whale watching." ~Santiago
