"Pros: This property is self catering. Some general necessities are supplied by the owners( soap, salt and pepper, sugar, tea etc); towels and bedlinen are also supplied. The village center is within walking distance; there are good shops, restaurants and cafe's. The local area is prime biking territory, and there is a choice of bike rental places. The beach is within biking distance. The owners are pleasant and helpful. The property is small, but everything one needs is present and in working order. The kitchen works; it is easy to cook a meal for two. The beds are very comfortable. There is a lot of cupboard space. The decor is neutral but tasteful. If we need to be in Bergen again, we would happily come here again. Cons: No complaints, really. Public transport to get out of Bergen is rather restricted; there is a bus connection to Alkmaar twice an hour." ~Martin
