"Pros: This is outstanding accomodation, size, quality,facilities and location. We travel often and can say this is one of the best, if not the best, we have stayed in . Paula is fantastic , both as a host but also as a charming person happy to chat ( in good English ) and give helpfull tips. Bourtange is a unique historic star fort and the property is located in the village within it. The museum and associated buildings have exceptional displays. Walking about or taking a morning stroll on the ramparts is such a peasure there being virtually no traffic . We will teturn for sure. John Cons: Having to leave!" ~John
