"Pros: Very clean and beautifully furnished and designed accommodation with very nice hosts. Egmond aan Zee is also a really nice place with a huge beach, well-kept old and modern houses, lighthouse, shopping street, restaurants, supermarket, etc. It doesn't always have to be Domburg. A dune walk is also highly recommended!" ~Hans-jürgen
"Pros: It's a tiny house (a folded garage) provided with the things you might need for a short stay.
It was perfectly situated for the beach and the centre of the village with nice restaurants.
We only used a water cooker to make thee (2 cups) and one of the beds.
And we used one small old blanket out of a bag full of old blankets. We had to pay extra for this (an amount that did not correspond with the status of the goods, to say the least.
Cons: Despite a constantly working Central Heating System we could not make it pleasant because the tiny house was badly isolated: despite a goed temperature the draught was very annoying.
Please note: It was very, very windy the days we were in Egmond.
I think this tiny house is excellent in Summertime for a short holiday on the beach, if you want to be self-supporting.
All things you might want that's not there, will cost you money, money, money ...
I know now, you can better take a hotel, if you don't want to be self supporting. In" ~Ja
