"Pros: Extremely warm, helpful and prompt guest, it felt to us like she was a family member. Quiet, clean, the common room is a great cozy place to meet people and chat. In the common/breakfast room there are fridges freely available with beer/wine/refreshments + coffee machine/tea and one can open a tab and pay at the end of the stay. Bathroom/shower large enough with everything that is needed. Radiators/warm water always available. Sufficient lighting provided in the room. Close to a village and supermarkets (5 minutes cycling) and the largest village (15 minutes cycling). Things we liked that contradicted some of the reviews we've read before going: compared with other reviews here we have been provided with shower gel and liquid soap; breakfast was not that basic as some suggested as it had everything we needed and it was quite varied considering this is a small establishment; there is no cleaning service, which for us was a plus (if needed, one could always contact the host, who was always available, for stuff like a towel replacement, etc). Cons: Rather dated furniture/rooms though in very good shape." ~Adrian
