"Pros: Wonderful central location, beautiful building, welcoming and helpful staff. The bed was very comfortable, sofa in my room, lots of lovely little touches. Dad particularly appreciated the piano on the landing! The restaurant area was warm and cosy, with a real feel of it being somewhere locals went to have a coffee and catch up. Breakfast was amazing and definitely worth the price. We also had a delicious and copious dinner there and I would thoroughly recommend it. Cons: Lighting in room was very dim near wardrobe so I couldn't see instructions on safe! And the heating controls were complex - we struggled to get Dad's room warm enough for him, but then he is 85 and it was December!" ~Elinor

"Pros: The location, the fact it had parking and it was a lovely size for a family for a few days. It’s easy to walk to the supermarket and into the old town of Naarden. Cons: While it’s situated in a quiet road it’s close to the main road. We found the road noise distracting when trying to get to sleep." ~Stephanie

"Pros: The 3 cats that appeared now and then, the 2 electric bikes, the very comfortable double bed, the quiet suburban location near the countryside and woods as well as near the pretty centre of Naarden. And the owner, who was always helpful but never disturbed us. Cons: We thought the flat-bed toaster was more suited to making waffles than toast; and we could only find one teaspoon- but we managed well nevertheless." ~Dennis
