"Pros: The area where the house is located is great. 6-7kms to the beach! Very quiet and opposite a stork nest!
The house itself looks lovely. A cottage that is larger than it looks. 3 spaces downstairs including a large kitchen, and two sitting areas. 3 small bedrooms upstairs under the roof. The bed where we slept in was super comfortable.
There is also a small room facing south and the same side as the garden where it is very sunny and great to have breakfast.
The heating system works well and this is nicely complemented by a wood "kachel" (closed chimney) downstairs. It was necessary as it was very cold when we were there.
The owner was not on site to welcome us but he left clear instructions to get the keys and was available and agreeable to answer further questions by whatsapp.
The wifi worked very well.
Cons: The house is a mix of tasty old fashion and outdated furniture which gives it a special atmosphere, way less impersonal that normal holiday houses. Books, CD, tapes that belong to the owners are present in the main room. It is after all their holiday house
The house takes a little getting-use-to to find everything. For instance, there was no way to start the fire in the kachel when we arrived. There is a man-bike in the shed that has a fancy lock but no combination was available to use the bike safely. The towels were not in the bathroom. There were no extra roll of toilette paper.
Having said that, most of the other stuff was there, washing tablets for the dishwasher, kitchen towels, washing liquid etc etc. Once we got sorted, we really had a great time.
The bathroom works very well with good supply of hot water but is far away from the bedrooms and is a little basic."

Please note that costs for touristic taxes, electricity, gas and water are not included in the price.
Please note that you are responsible for the end cleaning of the villa or pay EUR 75.
The owner will send the keys by mail when the deposit of EUR 500 as mentioned in the Deposit Policy is paid 20 days before arrival date. This deposit (minus your charges) will be refunded to your bank account one week after check out at the latest.
Please note that the bedlinen and towels are not provided.
