"Pros: Very quirky hotel in more ways than one. Nicely decorated well presented. Friendly, helpful staff. Room was quite nice, bed very very comfortable & simple but nice breakfast, lovely bread !! Cons: Wasn't overly impressed with dinner, very strange things on menu, small portions so you have to have 2 or 3 dishes. Bed was very strangely positioned. You had to step into it from front no way around it. No proper shower but great big standalone bath, not really suitable for older people." ~Richard

"Pros: Van der Valk hotels are all wonderful. This one is a bit out of town, like most, and near freeway, but very easy to get to by bike as we were doing. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was a perfect size and very clean. But breakfast is the big attraction for me. It’s enormous and everything is so well presented. Cons: Nothing" ~Trekker
