"Pros: Very friendly staff who went out if their way to help- despite arriving after last orders for food we were asked if we had eaten. Dinner was excellent quality and local wine a surprise as extremely good. Good travel advice given to get around. Beds were comfortable and room very quiet despite hotel being full Cons: Entrance hall looked tired with carpet worn and stairs too bedrooms very steep with narrow treds, bedroom was a little utilitarian with 2 plastic chairs" ~Mike_ref
