In the heart of Terschelling, next to the Brandaris lighthouse, is one of the island’s oldest hotels combining traditional hospitality with modern comforts. This pleasant hotel has offered the visitors of Terschelling a bed and breakfast for over one and a half centuries. Originally named Amsterdam’s Koffijhuys and then Hotel Swart, the hotel took its current name in 1905. With so many years to perfect our formula, the entire hotel radiates a welcoming atmosphere and presents you with a number of places to relax. After a day of activities, what could be more appealing than sinking into a comfy chair by the fireplace?

Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 1 year old stay for € 10 per person per night when using an available cot. Children up to and including 14 years old stay for € 15 per person per night when using an existing bed. Children from 2 years old to 11 years old stay for € 17.50 per person per night when using an available extra bed. People 12 years old and over stay for € 35 per person per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
