"Pros: The apartment was nice and comfortable. It is well situated and has great views. Cons: Getting the code to the door was really cumbersome. We did not get the e-mail within 'a few minutes' (was 15/20 minutes) so we called the emergency number, where they first gave the wrong code. => request the door code well before you arrive! The beds were too soft, making you really sink in too far. I tend to wake up at night when I'm warm, and that made it even worse. There was a clipped fingernail stuck in the bedsheet :^(." ~Gunnar

"Pros: If you have ever wanted to stay in a beautiful Dutch golden age house alongside a historic port in a charming town then De Witte Dame is perfect. The apartment is very comfortable with lovely homely touches such as a spacious living and dining room, a well equipped kitchen, fantastic location and extremely welcoming and helpful hosts. Zierikzee is a wonderful base for exploring Zeeland, easy cycling, beaches and bird life, as well as a lovely town to explore in its own right with some surprisingly good restaurants too. We had a wonderful stay and could not recommend it more highly. Cons: Nothing, the apartment is lovely. A lavatory on the top floor with the bedrooms would be nice but given the layout I suspect this wouldn’t be possible!" ~Andrew
