"Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home with stunning views. It has lots of space for the family to spread out. The separate lounge spaces provided areas for the adults to chat away while the kids played. We especially loved the dining room with a view of the ocean - that space was absolutely gorgeous. There is good offstreet parking available and lovely well-kept grounds to walk around whilst taking in the views. Lots of appliances, dishes and pantry supplies that made it easy for us to settle in and enjoy it as a home away from home. Cons: We didn't have a gas bottle for the BBQ which meant we had to adjust our meal options. A replacement gas bottle was eventually delivered to the home but by the time it arrived, we didn't need the BBQ. There is no bathroom upstairs where all the bedrooms are located. Not a big issue just a bit of an inconvenience (especially in the middle of the night). Initially we thought the drive to Dunedin would be too far and a hassle to make each day, however the scenic route made it seem shorter." ~Tj

"Pros: I sincerely apologize for the delay in sharing my wonderful experience. I can confidently say that the landlady in New Zealand is not only incredibly beautiful but also has the kindest heart. Her warmth and hospitality truly set her apart. The house she rents out is ideally situated just a short distance from the beach. A leisurely stroll to the shore takes merely about 10 to 15 minutes, and from the comfort of the house, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the beach and the gently rolling ocean waves stretching out into the distance. The house itself is a gem. It's fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay. Every corner is spotlessly clean and neatly arranged, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. In the backyard, there's a charming farm where various animals roam freely. Lambs, in particular, add a touch of pastoral charm as they frolic around. The landlady goes the extra mile by providing complementary food, allowing you to engage in the delightful activity of feeding these adorable creatures. For added convenience, washing machines and fryers are available for shared use with the family. What's more, the thoughtful design and layout of the house are extremely child-friendly, with an abundance of toys and books to keep the little ones entertained. During my two-night stay, the landlady was an absolute delight. Her kindness and hospitality made me feel right at home, and she generously shared many interesting stories and local insights with me. Looking back, I feel a deep sense of pride and contentment for having had the opportunity to stay in such a wonderful place. It's truly an experience I will cherish for a long time.
