Located next to Sawyers Creek Global Village offers a Finish Sauna and a small fitness room etc. Guests enjoy modern rooms with stylish décor. There is fully equipped communal kitchen and a guest lounge with a log fire. Relax with a book from the extensive library or just unwind in the TV room which offers a large collection of movies. Guests can also play the lodge's guitar and piano. The staff at the tour desk can assist with arranging local activities like glacier walks, cave rafting and quad biking. Global Village also offers free use of sporting equipment including bicycles, fishing rods, golf clubs and kayaks. You can choose to stay in a lively dorm room or in the comfort of a private room. Bed linen is provided for all rooms. The shared bathroom facilities offer contemporary fittings and are equipped with hair dryers. Travellers Lodge is 3 minutes' drive from Greymouth’s town centre. The local pub and a supermarket are within 5 minutes' walk.

There is a free pick up from the Train Station off TranzAlpine and InterCity buses.
