"Pros: A pleasant stay for the area! While the motel was basic, as expected for a small town, it had some nice touches. The TV was small but offered Netflix, the shower, though simple, had great water pressure, and the bed was average but comfortable enough. The highlight was the balcony overlooking the lagoon and nearby mini waterfall—a lovely surprise. The host was truly memorable. His exceptional customer service, local knowledge, and excellent recommendations elevated the experience and made it far more enjoyable than anticipated. A solid choice for a short stay!

"Pros: Great place for water activity just next to Haruru Fall which you can do during low or high tide.
It is a great place for family get away from busy Auckland city.
Friendly staff & comfy bed
Cons: Shower temperature & pressure are difficult to adjust and the whole experience when showering was ruined because of this. Some items are missing in the kitchen which prevent us to prepare food in the room. But staff promptly fixed the issue once we raised it to them (except the showering unfortunately)"
