"Pros: It was so thoughtful to find a selection of provisions left in the kitchen and each room was provided with a small sample of locally made mini soaps for visitors to trial. Being such an old hotel, visitors need to bear in mind that the quirkiness and authenticity typical of the era, are reflected everywhere in this lovely old building and adapt accordingly. My husband and I found it charming, with a very comfortable bed, towels changed daily and Melanie the owner was super obliging, friendly and helpful. Cons: If we had to be really picky, the only "issue" would be the addition of a curtain or blind to block the light from the frosted glass panel door in the Lady Barkley room downstairs." ~Sharan
