Set on the base of Mount Hutt ski area, on 750 acres of prime riverfront land, Montrose Estate provides 3 chalets offering self-contained, luxury accommodation overlooking the Rakaia River, mountain ranges and a 5-acre lake. All chalets feature a separate kitchen, dining and living area with a balcony overlooking the stunning scenery. Free WiFi and cable channels are provided. There is a private bath in each and all linen is included. Some chalets have a hot tub. Christchurch International Airport is 1 hours' drive away. There are a number of activities available in the surrounding areas, including skiing, jet boating, river walks or relaxing in nature.

Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an available cot. Children up to and including 5 years old stay for free when using an existing bed. People no matter the age stay for NZD 60 per person per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
