Located in Mount Maunganui, Pacific Coast Lodge and Backpackers is an award-winning hostel, located at 500 metres from the beach and next to Blake park. Guests have free use of surf boards and WiFi is available. On-site parking is available. The working hostel offer free assistance with job placement, lots of jobs opportinuties are within walking distance. You can choose to stay in a lively dormitory room or in the comfort of your own private room. Toilet and bathroom facilities are shared. There is a reading room, a spacious lounge with chromecast for a Netflix access. Laundry facilities are available. Computer and printer access are also available. The communal kitchen is equipped with 2 large commercial stoves, 7 fridges, a barbecue, microwave, toastie machine, hot water machine and all the crockery and utensils you could need. There is also a well-stocked herbs and spices rack. Mount Maunganui Pacific Coast Lodge and Backpackers is 5 km from Tauranga Airport and a 7-minute drive from Baywave Aquatic Centre.

Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A damage deposit of NZD 30 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full in cash, subject to an inspection of the property. All guests must sign the property's Terms of Stay, have valid physical ID and credit card. Please note that towels are not included in the price. You can rent them at the property or bring your own.
