Just a 7-minute walk from East End Surf Life Saving Club, The Strand offers free WiFi, free parking, a 24-hour front desk and studios with a kitchenette. Located in New Plymouth, the motel is a 4-minute drive from Fitzroy Golf Club and a 5-minute drive from Pak’nSAVE New Plymouth. Stadium Taranaki is 8 minutes’ drive away. Guests can enjoy a simple meal around the dining table in their private room and then watch a show on the flat-screen TV. There are electric blankets, outdoor furniture, a seating area and a private bathroom.

Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 2 years old stay for NZD 20 per person per night when using an available cot. Children up to and including 1 year old stay for NZD 15 per person per night when using an existing bed. Children from 2 years old to 17 years old stay for NZD 20 per person per night when using an existing bed. You haven't added any extra beds. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
