Ocean View is situated between Ohope Beach and Pohutukawa clad cliffs and is just a short walk from the beach. Free Wi-Fi is offered and free private parking is available on site. Apartments feature a terrace and/or balcony with views of the beach, and Whale Island from the deck area. Apartments 1, 2 and penthouse are all located up a flight of stairs. Each includes full kitchens, equipped with an oven, microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle as well as a TV with over 50 satellite channels. The studio is a small one room and has coffee/tea making facilities, a fridge, microwave, TV and toaster. There is a private bathroom with a shower in every unit, with supplies of towels and bed linen. All apartments include air-conditioning for year-round comfort. The property offers a barbecue. Surf boards available at the property. The area is popular for road and mountain bike cycling, surfing, snorkelling, stand-up paddle boarding and bush walking. Local cafes and restaurants are a short walk away. The township of Whakatane and Whakatane Airport is 6 km from Ocean View, while Rotorua Airport is 65 km away.
