"Pros: Good view on Onetangi beach- easy walk down but very uphill bcj Cons: Driveway was crazy steep Tiny bar fridge with freezer that had iced over- we needed to defrost it to use it Dirty cutlery and pots Nails sticking up on the deck Uncomfortable beds Bitten alive by mosquitoes - no screens, one aircon which did not reach the second bedroom Marked and filmsy furniture I could have overlooked this is we were charged for a 2-3 star place but for over $2000NZD for 3 nights, albeit over Xmas, it was terrible value. Our friends staying in Luxe accommodation for only a few hundred dollars more. The Bach Care manager and cleaner tried to be helpful. We were refund a few hundred dollars. But this property is way overpriced and the photos to not represent the poor quality. If you want to charge high $ then you need to provide high standards. Beware. "Pros: Great location near the beach and restaurants a short walk away. Comfortable and clean and the complimentary bottle of wine was a lovely surprise. Cons: Nothing really.
