Hilltop Accommodation Catlins is set on farmland beside native forest, overlooking Papatowai and the Southern Scenic Route . Guests experience stunning ocean and valley views, from our 2 historic homes. "The Lodge" (or Top House) - a restored character 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home: free wi-fi. cosy woodburner. heatpump, sunny conservatory, clawfoot bath. BBQ, full kitchen and laundry for self catering. Sleeps up to 9, so is ideal for larger families and groups of friends. All linen supplied. "The Cottage" (or Bottom House) - a restored miner's cottage featuring a queen bedroom with ensuite; a twin bedroom with separate shower and toilet, plus free wi-fi, TV, and DVD player, full kitchen and laundry, all set in a private yard. Ideal for couples and smaller families. Peaceful country accommodation, at the edge of the forest, in the heart of the Catlins, and far too relaxing to stay for only one night. Hilltop Accommodation Catlins is situated in the heart of Catlins, just over 1.5 hours' drive from Invercargil and 2 hours' drive from Dunedin.

Please note that the property suggests that guests bring their own food. Discount fuel, alcohol and limited groceries are available at the Papatowai Country Store, 2 km away.
