"Pros: Lodges cosy and short walk to beach. Very helpful staff. Free bikes for cycle around town and boardwalk cycle trail.
Cons: Fan in room too low from ceiling - my wife hit her hand on it accidentally. Swimming pool and spa area needs updating. Only one shower and in odd place."

"Pros: Loved the location, the property was spacious and had everything that we needed. Really beautifully decorated with a heap of extras, like a games cupboard (excellent for my children), a wonderful selection of dvds for the rainy night in.
The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed to prepare our meals. A clear instruction booklet on how to use all appliances made us confident in the property.
Waking up to the beautiful sounds of Tui and native birds of all kinds in the trees outside my bedroom was absolute heaven.
Neighbourhood was very warm and welcoming.
Love, love, loooved our stay.
We will definitely be staying again.
We have made such wonderful memories there.
Highly recommend staying here.
Plenty of beds and they also have pup tents for use as well.

Cons: Not a property issue, but a note about nature:
At night keep all the doors and windows closed before the sun fully sets. Flying small beetles come out at night, being attracted to the lights, in turn, come into the property.
My boys had fun catching them and chasing after their sisters with them."
