"Pros: The hosts - Andre and Elsie - were exceptional and so friendly and we were welcomed to enjoy their property with them. The Chalet was comfortable and quirky, with plenty of room for a group and families with bunk beds, single beds and a double bed. The breakfast provisions were well appreciated and added a homely touch. We liked the charm of the Chalet, especially after busy days out, and getting to return to peaceful countryside just out of Dunedin (which was only 12 mins away mostly on a highway).
Cons: There’s not much we didn’t like. We enjoyed everything but recommend to be careful up and down the internal stairs."

"Pros: Was a magical experience, on our return to Dunedin will never look for any other accommodation, we found the ultimate.
Alan is the perfect host, and we can never thank him enough for allowing us to share his vision of utopia, with his trusted companions Bella and George.
We miss The Barn already, and can't wait for a return visit.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike, The Barn is paradise personified."
