"Pros: - There are four bedrooms with 3 double beds and 1 single with electric blanket heaters and each room provided with radiator, fan or ceramic heaters. Location is close to town. - Please read instructions posted on the door to unlock/lock it otherwise you will struggle to make it work. Cons: - There's no wi-fi signal in the bedrooms, only weak signal in the lounge - The lock inside the toilet needs fixing, you can't lock yourself in while using but can be locked from the outside which is totally weird!! - There are no stove tops but electric fryer, oven. microwave and toasters are available for use. The extractor fans are not ducted and you need an extension lead to place the fryer below but it's useless because it will just spread the fumes within the converted garage. - The lounge/Kitchenette area is a converted garage and it is really cold in winter, the ceramic heater is not enough to heat the entire room - You need to park parallel to the garage door as the next door neighbour complains because she couldn't get out of the driveway." ~Erwin

"Pros: Wonderful host. Couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a great stay. Loved the spa , especially after the Tongariro Crossing hike. Beautiful view from our bed to the river and beyond Cons: Nothing. It was great" ~Jim
