Solitaire Lodge is a luxurious 5-star property 20 minutes' drive from Rotorua, set on a private peninsula on the shores of Lake Tarawera. Spacious suites feature modern interiors and stylish furnishings. with views of the lake, the lagoon, or the volcanic summit of Mount Tarawera. The property features a private helipad for flights over Mount Tarawera and Orakei Korako. The Lodge hosts can assist with booking helicopter tours and arranging cruises on the lake. The restaurant serves fresh local produce and a selection of New Zealand wine. Outdoor dining is possible on-site. Solitaire Lodge is a 10-minute drive from The Buried Village, and a 20-minute drive from Whakarewarewa Forest. It is a 40-minute drive from Rotorua Regional Airport and the Polynesian Spa.
