"Pros: Location was chosen for its close proximity to & halfway along the Te Awa River Trail. Close to Tamahere interchange so was easy to find. Handy small shopping centre with cafes & a restaurant nearby. Bonus was a washing machine in the bathroom, with line outside & a hot water cupboard in the bedroom. We stayed 3 nights & as the evenings were warm we were happy to be able to use the 2 fans available. We were pleased to meet with the friendly host family. Very responsive & helpful. We will return! Cons: The bed was too firm for us, but we carry a mattress topper in our luggage, so it was easily remedied." ~Alison
