"Pros: Amazing location, great sleeping options for our mixed group, kayak awesome to have use of, fireplace wonderful, awesome that linen and towels provided. Cons: Gas bottle ran out, no spare. Seats/couch uncomfortable and not enough seats in living area for as many people as you accommodate with beds." ~Megan

"Pros: Really liked that there was no TV, the kids loved the spa pool. The beds were really comfortable. Heaps of heating to get the place nice and warm for our Matariki weekend - absolutely loved the open fire! And having the lake right there at the end of the road was lovely to walk down and explore the beautiful spot of Hatepe. Cons: It is advertised as Wairahanui, but actually in Hatepe, both spots are lovely, but it would’ve been better if I’d known before booking it." ~Tui
