"Pros: Super easy check in process with a lockbox. Great location - we were visiting for a nearby wedding also in Waitahanui so to be within walking distance was great. We had 10 people stay in the house for 3 nights and there was plenty of room especially given the upstairs and downstairs have their own bathrooms and kitchen areas (although we all spent most of our time upstairs and still plenty of space, especially given the lovely deck). House was super clean and loved the batchy vibe. We didn't use the kayaks or the table tennis table but believe these were in the garage. House is on the road side as opposed to the lake side, but thanks to a gate in the backyard it's only a 2min walk to the lakefront. Cons: Upstairs got super hot and the aircon unit wasn't particularly strong to be able to cool the house down quickly - although the master bedroom did have a fan which was helpful. Also the house has no wifi - not a major for us, but general phone signal in the area was mostly only 3G (as opposed to 4G or 5G), so our hotspot kept dropping in and out when we were trying to work." ~Kirsty
